Spanish in daily life
Did you know that after Mexico, the country with the highest amount of Spanish speakers is the United States!? There are around 50 million native Spanish speakers in the US alone, and another 15 million speaking Spanish as a second language. Because of this, many job applications through all sectors require at least average comprehension of the Spanish language. Therefore, the ability to speak Spanish is a great addition to your resume. Another reason understanding Spanish is a useful skill to have, is that you will be able to understand Hispanic media, which makes up almost 10% of the internet, only being surpassed by Chinese and English.
